We are very pleased with the job Tony Balsamo and his team did for us. The quality of work was excellent and the service was professional. Him and his crew did a complete tear off of roof, installed water and ice sheets, applied synthetic paper and roof shingles, installed HDZ Lifetime Dimensional roof, installed new vent pipe covers, re-flashed and caulk chimney, replaced rotten plywood and clean up area and took away all scraps. Compared to other roofing company prices, his price was very fair. We have received so many compliments of how good our roof looks. I had a 64 year old roof that had been covered by a newer roof that was now 35 years old ! Made my house look old and shabby ! Needless to say, everything right down to the original plywood had to be ripped out and replaced ! After getting a very reasonable and affordable estimate, Tony and his entirely professional team came within days and did all the work in ONE day ! They trimmed back overhanging pine limbs, cleaned out all the gutters and removed an old skylight, too ! I was so amazed watching them work I stayed outside all day ! When they finished, my yard was spotlessly clean and now my house looks great !!! These guys are for real ! Working with this contractor was a real pleasure. Appointments were made and Tony the owner was prompt and always on time. An estimate was provided in a timely manner and once we agreed to have the work done it was scheduled within 2 weeks. We had a complete roof redo....tear off down to the rafters, replace with new plywood and reroof. The employees that work for this company were on time, polite, and worked in an efficient manner. The owner was present onsite and assisted with the actual work being done. Once work was completed they cleaned up the property really well. Contracted with Tony to remodel our 34-year old bathroom. We were very pleased with the workmanship. Tony helped us step by step through the process of choosing materials and products that would both look good and fit into our budget. He even took the time to accompany us to the home improvement store to assist us in choosing tile, grout color and other products. Tony listened to our ideas and made suggestions of his own to improve the appearance of the remodel. (He suggested removing the original drop ceiling in the shower area to open up the space). He was very careful to insure the new plumbing was tight with no water leaks around pipe fittings and drains before the walls and floor were sealed. He cleaned up daily and used tarps/drop cloths as well as cardboard on hallway floors and stairs to minimize dust and debris. Tony and his highly competent assistant Rob arrived early every day and were true professionals throughout the process. We will definitely use Tony again on future projects.

Excellent work by Tony and crew. They took off 2 roof layers, removed old turbine vent, replaced roof plywood, re-caulked chimney, replaced pipe vent covers, cut vent holes in front and back soffits, and installed new roof and added ridge vent. They worked fast and efficiently, protecting my property and left it clean of debris. Considering it was 95 degrees it was impressive how well they conducted themselves. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew to anyone considering work on or in their home.

My 110 year old slate roof had finally reached the end of its useful life. I was looking for roofing that would be similar in appearance to slate. As a consequence the cost was significant both in terms of material as well as for installation. However, given the time the job took to do properly I would say the price was reasonable. Tony and his folk did the work during the recent heat wave on top of a three story house. They are conscientious, hardworking, and precise. They are true craftsmen. In today's age, that is a rare thing. In addition, Tony went well above his responsibilities in a number of respects. I could not ask for a better job. I would hire Tony again for any other work. If this review suggests I was pleased with the job that is an understatement.

We had a new roof installed which began to leak after 5 years, we called our original contractor who came out to inspect and never followed up and never returned calls, even though we were willing to pay for the repairs. Tony came out to inspect and identified the issue straight away which was missing flashing in one large section of the roof where it met a dormer. Repairs were completed within a few days and have remained good for the past two years.

Tony Balsamo and his crew did a fantastic job! I give them my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to recommend them strongly to anyone. Tony answers phone calls to his company directly and almost immediately. He handles all the estimates himself and is on the job site doing work with his crew at all times. He is on time and does all the work exactly as he says he will do. He doesn't leave until all of the work is completed to the owner's satisfaction. Tony takes great pride in his work as does his crew. I had a significant roof leak that needed to be repaired quickly. Tony was able to schedule the work for only a few days after the initial visit to do the estimate. Once the old roof was off, it was apparent that there was much more damage and repair that needed to be done and the job was going to take twice the amount of time. Tony was actually supposed to go on vacation and instead postponed his vacation in order to complete the additional work! Through all phases of the work, Tony and his team were a pleasure to deal with. The quality of work was excellent. They cleaned up completely once done and left me all the extra materials (wood, rubber roofing rolls, etc.) neatly placed where I requested. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I give my strongest recommendation to Tony Balsamo Contractors and I am very appreciative of the work he has done for me. In fact I expect to be going back to Tony for additional work in the near future.

We had a leak in our roof. Tony was very busy with other jobs, but 5 days of rain were expected so he fit us in the very next day, even though we were new customers. He arrived promptly, did the repair himself (with one assistant), and even did some additional work that was not anticipated. Great guy, great work. A building inspector relative looked at the photos and said it looked like a clean, professional job and the price was reasonable for the work done.
